    A ‘park-pansy’ (PL: ‘pikieciara’) is an expression from the oldschool gay slang, derieved from ‘pikieta’ – a term for a public cruising ground and a bit of a byword for the renown Słowackiego city park in Wrocław back in the day. Note the feminine form of the term; something of a trademark with the pre-transormation gay culture in Poland. (Translator‘s note)
